Maja Golik has been dancing at Volta Dance Studio since 2018 under the direction of Coach Magdalena Mietus-Gawronski. She trains in Ballroom (Latin and Standard), Contemporary, Lyrical, and Ballet, and has extensive experience competing in solo, duo/trio, and group performances. Maja is also excited to continue her teaching journey by assisting with Beginner Ballroom Kids alongside Coach Magdalena Mietus-Gawronski and Disney Kids with Coach Isabella.

Throughout her competitive career, Maja has earned three National Champion titles on the East Coast and has been a World Dance Championship finalist from 2024–2026, receiving multiple Special Excellence Awards. She is also a Competitive Gold Ballroom dancer who competes as a Latin Solo Star throughout the New England region and has previous experience competing in Standard ballroom with a partner.

Dedicated to continuous growth, Maja regularly trains at workshops and conventions with renowned dancers, judges, and choreographers from productions such as Dancing with the Stars, Dance Moms, and other leading professionals in the dance industry. She was also selected to attend the invitation-only Power Pak Intensive Dance Convention, where she expanded her training across a variety of dance styles.

As an instructor, Maja is passionate about helping young dancers develop strong technique, confidence, trust, and individuality in a positive and encouraging environment. She strives to inspire each student to reach their full potential while fostering a love for dance, and looks forward to continuing her journey as both a competitive dancer and instructor alongside the Volta Dance Studio community.
