Hi, my name is Amelia Powalka, and I am a High School student. I started dancing with Magdalena Gawronski-Mietus ever since I was about five years old and I have gained a passion for dance ever since. Besides dance, I enjoy playing sports, shopping, and I even volunteer at Polish school, where I interact a lot with kids. My group and I won first place 2023 Nationals for the recreational small group division. Over the course of this year, I have worked with two groups of kids, one group being a lyrical/contemporary group of 6-9yrs, who got to performed at the Polish festival. Another group was a Disney group with 3-4yrs who learned basic dance steps. Most of all, I deeply enjoy working with kids and teaching them the fun behind dance!
